Travelodge Grantham Colsterworth

Moto Service Area, A1, Colsterworth, Grantham NG33 5JR, UK – 0871 984 6075

Considering its location, next to the A1, the hotel was quiet. The receptionist was really pleasant, had a good knowledge of local amenities and she offered help for us to walk or drive to the local village. The room was clean, tidy, warm and the bed comfortable too. There is a fast food restaurant next door but I'd recommend you go to the local village and have a meal at The White Lion pub (3 minutes by car/20 minute walk). Overall, a quiet and relaxed night!

First time stayed. Very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. And would recommend anyone else to stay there

Cholmeley Arms

Village St, Burton-le-Coggles, Grantham NG33 4JP, UK – 01476 550225

Nice little village pub and farm shop not far off the A1 . Stopped for a quick pint and a coffee and couldn't fault either. Friendly polite staff. Thanks

Stayed in one of the Chalets 18/Nov/2017 and attended the pub for a 60th Birthday. I was shocked how nice the room was, the room with it's high ceilings and spacious accommodation, walk in shower was wonderful. Very clean and at £85 for the night, Wished we had booked a few nights. I live in London so it was a fair drive but will return, already booked for June. The food, the bread and butter was fantastic, the crust was to die for, classic sour dough bread. I has the rib eye steak, wonderful coloring on the outside, pink and melt in your mouth on the inside. Great night, great food, great sleep, breakfast was a challenge but tasted fantastic.

Travel Super Market search and compare prices for hotels all over the world. Could also be useful for you. I This said I was told by a hotelier that the way to get cheap rooms is to ring up the week before and ask for the weekend rate. You can usually get an absolute bargain as they will trying to book all the rooms that they have not sold! Could be worth a try!
